Finally after years of trying to come up with a tactic that consistently works home and away that doesn't need changing every game I think I've done it and would love for the community to test it on your teams. I didn't want to use a big team as I don't think its that much of a challenge to create a great tactic for a team full of stars so I wanted it to work at non league level first therefore I used Dulwich Hamlet in the Conference South (media prediction - play offs).
I wanted the perfect balance of great attacking play and solid at the back. It took a long time as at first I was either conceding less but scoring less or conceding more but scoring more. I tweaked and tweaked and tweaked and finally it clicked.
I wont go into the specifics but just have a look at those screen shots.
Please don't copy but download as there are important set piece instructions included.
*I will also upload the attacking and defensive versions of this tactic*
Use the attacking tactic when your chasing a game and use the defensive tactic if you have a narrow lead and the opposition are looking likely to score. I rarely have to use these but they also work wonders.
I'm currently halfway through my second season so there's more to come but I couldn't wait to upload it.
Also give it a chance and start it from pre season but if not then give it 5-10 games for your squad to get used to. I will also upload my training schedules which have been very successful in terms of player development and low injury rates which I always find a massive problem at non league level. I will include the link once uploaded.
Thanks and enjoy!!
