This tactic has been a massive success to my Milan save, with an Elite Target Man (Ibrahimovic) destroying the Serie A in terms of assists for 3 years.
Only suggestions would be that your ML should have high work rate and decent defending, while your Left Center Back should be fast; to cover for the space behind your ML
