Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 4-3-3 Latest as of 27/7/20

Hi Guys,

Just a brief upload here for a tactic I made from scratch which I think accurately replicates the football Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United side have played since Bruno Fernandes signed for the club.

As you can see, it's a 4-3-3 formation variant if the 4-1-2-3 in game, the key positions are your anchor man, wing-backs and your front three.

I made this with Real Madrid so I'm fully aware that the results are somewhat skewed to be positive to begin with, however my manager rep setting was on amateur footballer and it worked for my reserve and under-18 teams as well. However, the point of this isn't to post a hugely successful game breaker system, but one which accurately reflects a real-life style of football.

Anyway, here are a couple of screenshots:

As you can see, the results show a lot of goals scored, although there is a fair number conceded. The key aspect of this formation is to be aggressive and play on the front foot.

Here is the system, I'm not going to write all the instructions here as you can download the file, however I don't use any custom set pieces, no opposition instructions and I let my assistant do every press conference. I only do the team talks, but generally say something positive.

Solskjaer has gotten the best out of Rashford, Martial and Greenwood playing like this, and it's so important to have players with similar skillsets. For year 1 I ran with Dybala through the middle, Hazard on the left and Bale/Coman on the right as I couldn't sell the Welshman.

The anchorman is a vital position, I used Kroos as he was very similar to Matic, but you can get away with any tall player who has 16 or above passing, 13-14 if you're in the mid to lower table. Wing-backs have to be really quick and good at passing. They will make most of your chances if you can keep the ball properly.

I don't have any real advice as to what to do if you go down to 10 men, it shouldn't happen too often but just move players as you see fit and write the game off.

I've no idea how this will work with other teams, especially if you have a poor defence. CBs with good passing stats are also helpful as your keeper will give them the ball every time he has it.

At the beginning of every game just after kick-off give your team the get creative shout. At the same point at the start of the second half, give them the praise shout if you're winning or demand more if not.

Final point on training: In pre-season do heavy fitness work so your squad is fit and then once the first game of the season arrives, I switch to a custom schedule which somebody who I think was French made and uploaded, I can't remember where I got it from, but he uploaded three versions: one for defending training, attacking training and goalkeeper. Each for 0 matches, 1 matches or 2 matches, depending on your schedule.

I hope this proves fun for people to use, would love to know what people think.

Cheers
