My first successful tactic in FM23, after having no luck with a 4231 basically copied from my FM21 saves. I initially started out with a really high tempo and way more direct passing, but switched it after realizing that giving up possesion that much didn't work for me in this game.
I would recommend a balanced mentality for most away games (unless you're the clearly superior team) and a positive mentality for home games.
