Romanian Cup - Format Overhaul Update for version 26.02
This update brings a much‑needed overhaul to the Romanian Cup format.
The original database setup was plagued by hardcoded match rules that caused unrealistic group pairings and scheduling issues. These have now been removed and replaced with a cleaner, more authentic structure inspired by real‑world competition formats.
Key Improvements:
- Removed the Custom Match Plan rules that created chaotic cross‑group matchups.
- Implemented a three‑pot seeding system, mirroring the real draw process for the group stage.
- Reworked group match logic so each team plays one opponent from each pot.
- Correct scheduling & full TV coverage for all Group Stage and Knockout matches.
- Accurate Quarter‑Final bracket, following the real format: A1 vs B2, B1 vs A2, C1 vs D2, D1 vs C2.
