This 5-2-3 sends wingbacks and wingers forward to the byline, generally put through by the DLP in midfield. From these wide positions, the goal is to cross, cross, and cross some more. It is beneficial to have pacy wingbacks with good crossing and tall wingers who can head the ball in at the back post. I've taken a team from the 3rd tier of Denmark to the Champions League final with this tactic.
