Øyvind Hoås is a Norwegian football striker who currently plays for Sarpsborg 08.
He previously played for Fredrikstad, but left in 2008. He joined Fredrikstad from Molde FK in 2003. During the summer before the 07/08 English Football League Season, he was training with English League One side Luton Town, with a view to possible future signing. However this never materialised. At 2.03 m (6 ft 8 in), Hoås is the tallest outfield top flight footballer in Europe.
He is a former under-21 international with Norway, scoring one goal in four appearances.
He is commonly referred to as a talent and has scored some memorable goals during his career - including the last league goal to be scored in Fredrikstad's old ground and the first goal in their new stadium as well.

Obviously, at 27, 190k, his stats are not going anywhere. But, the stats he has are more than good enough for many teams. Certainly Championship, maybe even lower Premier League, or top League 1 sides. I have been using as a Deep-Lying Forward(Support), with Leo Aro/Daniel Chima as Poacher to great effect. Well worth a look.
