1st time playing football manager

hi i have not played a manager game since lma 2006 and got this about a month ago and started a Liverpool save, am in aug 2016 and have won champions cup 4 times won 2 club world championships, 1 super cup, 3 premier leagues, 2 fa cups, 2 league cups and 2 charity shields is the game really this easy? in me 1st season i finished 3rd on 88 points no way is it realistic with the Liverpool squad you start with to finish with that amount of points

the game is very realistic, but only to a certain extent. if it was completely realistic, people would not be winning champions leagues with Blue Square sides, no matter what year in the game it is. And if you're finding it that easy, start as low down as possible, don't start with an already established side in Liverpool. Or start in a different league where it is a challenge to win the Champions League because of the severe lack of money..start in Portugal or Denmark or Holland or Scotland or something.

It's realistic, the thing is, it's more about getting the players to perform, Liverpool on FM usually do very well

that seems right nearly every player i have had has performed well and because of that their value went up towards the end of a season so i have been selling every player for a big profit witched helped alot
