I have 40 Million to spend on a holding/box to box midfielder to replace James McCarthy at Everton. I've searched loads but so many ridiculous asking prices are not helping.

DM/BWM - I'd still suggest looking at Kyriakos Papadopoulous. Sure, he is stated as a CB, but has rather low passing/concentration, which makes him bad there. But he has the perfect stats for BWM [except for passing], especially in DM, as long as you set him to defend, and not create plays. Plus, Papadopoulous can win the ball from anyone >_>
