2d match engine very jerky

Hi guys

So im one of those that love watching the game on the 2d screen. Unfortunately for me the 2d mode 'jerks' 'skips' 'pauses' every few seconds. Its really annoying. The 3d engine works perfectly smooth! I have a 4gb toshiba core i3 and ssd so i really dont know why im having this issue. Anyone else experienced it? Really need help as its ruining the game for me.

i have a core 2 duo with 4GB and i dont experience any jerks/skips unless the ball rows to row Z and the game fast forward a bit.
