Im hoping someone can help me please.

Im using a 3-4-1-2 tactic and its serving me well, if i find myself behind, i use a 3-3-2-2 formation and finish with draw or win.

The thing thats getting me is i like to dominate possession but im only getting around 42 - 45 % possession. Ive slowed down the tempo, shorter passing, only central midfielders hold up play but still its not happening. Can anyone help with some advice please.

Also, im finding that with my midfielders as wide midfielders or even wingers in central position, are showing as wing backs on manager overview preferred formation, can anyone explain why this is please.

lol, no feed back, im not the only one stumped there then.

ok, can anyone let me know if players that are new to a team will adapt to the new teams style of play and if so, how many matches it takes to do so.
 
what i've found for possesion football is say yes to hold up ball, roam from position and tight marking. With a high defence line about 17clicks, Tempo about 5 clicks and wasting time about the 5clicks too. With your forwards dont tick hold up ball for them and you should still get gaols, Hopefully this will work. Bit hard to time you more when you cant see screamshots of you tactic's.
 
thanks for that little bit of info, ive also lessened the width of my squad and will try things out. how do i save my screenshots so i can post them for a better explanation please mate.
 
alt + F9 it will save in your games folder under screenshots. Looking forward to seeing the results
 
how do i put the pictures up here, i tried copy and paste but it didnt work. sorry, im a noob, not done this before, thanks for your patience.
 
You have to go to the GO ADVANCED and it will let you add screenshots that way.
 
Down load my tactoc Barcelona and Xavi passing or King Eric Barcelona tactic both play very good possesion football maybe this will give you some good idea. But from your screenshots i would play a higher deeper line and more pressing.
 
cheers for the advice mate, ive gone for the higher line and increased all the closing down stats for all individuals. i have comments about players not used to my lower tempo and not used to closing down so much, this will be applicable to more players now, especially on the closing down, will the players adjust to the tactics at some point and how long till they do?
