I'm introducing a new theory for formations and tactics. I'm just trying out this
new formation called 4-2-1-3 formation that has:
4 defenders- normal back four (Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov)
2 defensive midfielders- nigel de jong (defensive duty), patrick vieira (support duty)
1 box-to-box midfielder- yaya toure
2 wingers- david silva on the left as advanced playmaker with an attack duty and adam johnson on the right
carlos tevez as the 'to feet' target man up front
standard
fluid
-direct passing
-more creative freedom
-press more
-drill crosses
not sure how ill get on but reasonably optimistic- probs best to rest players midweek as tactic needs high stamina. let us no if youve tried something similar.
