Hello ladies and gentlemen. This is me, SirGoalsAlot delivering my first tactic here on FM-Base.

The Tactic:
All in all it is a 4-2-2-2 tactic with focus on high pressure, short passes and lots of crosses. You won't dominate possesion immensly (it's not Barca or Bayern style) but you'll still dominate your opponent in terms of chances created in most of your games, especially at your home games. You will also find your team scoring quite a lot of goals. Saying that, the defence isn't bad at all.

I've uploaded two version, one named "4-2-2-2 Fantastico L" and the other "4-2-2-2 Fantastico R". The "L" version has the the Inside Forward (IF) on the right side with the Winger (W) to the left. The "R" tactic is vice versa. The reason for this is so you can easily choose the tactic that fits your wide players the best. (i.e. if you have right footed wide players use the "R" version)

Results:
The tactic helped me claim both the La liga and the Spanish cup title in my very first season at Valencia. We broke the scoring record for most goals done and my two strikers, Rodrigo and Negredo, were the leagues top scorers. Rodrigo was overrall my best player with an average rating of 8.07.

Opposition Instructions:
These are the instructions that I've used and that I highly recommend.

Other than that, it is fairly plug and play. Try it out and tell me how it goes! And if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Enjoy!

I was trying to do something similar in my Milan save. What do you think about turning one of these F9's into complete forward(support)?

That would probably work fairly similar. But I still prefer the F9's in this game, there is just something about them. They also seem to track back and work fairly hard in the midfield, which is nice with only 2 Central Midfielders.

Hmm, gonna try two F9's then. The thing is, i never tried strong, tall players like Zaza or Mitrovic as false nine. I'll see how it goes.

Don't worry I think they'll be fine. Negredo for me who is a similliar player played really well and scored a **** of a lot of goals. Having strong players up front is really nice in lots of crossing situation as well, where the ball ends up in front of the goal.

The R Tactic is imba. Win everthing with that. The L Version doesnt work for me. I have the right player for that, but R works better just with the wrong type of players.
Instant Results with
Borussia Mönchengladbach
1860 Munich
Norwich City (Wingers Murphy and Redmond top so that the weak strikers scores like messi)
Westham United

Thank you for that

That is quite weird and hilarious at the same time actually :D But, hey if it works why bother!
