I've never posted a tactic before and a 4-2-3-1 is hardly original these days but I feel this tactic seems to do the job. It has been tested in Germany, Portugal, Spain and England with Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Porto and Man United. It resulted in a clean sweep with Real Madrid and while it is not unbeatable has only been beaten by Barcelona once. The season at Madrid climaxed in a 5-2 champions league final win over Barcelona without Ronaldo(injured at the time).

The attacking wing back looks to intercept the ball to the wide area and counter Marcelo was immense at this. It's relatively straight forward and has offered a consistency that many of my gung ho tactics in the past failed to do. I wont bore you to death with the details but its goal is to play attractive but consistent fluid football.
