Hi everyone,

I need a second opinion on a 4-2-3-1 formation if possible.
I am playing a 4-2-3-1 with defensive midfielders.

Strategy = Control
Passing = Shorter
Tempo = Normal (one notch above slow)

I have my players set on the following roles.

GK - Sweeper Keeper (Attack)
RB - Full Back (Attack)
LB - Full Back (Attack)
DCR - Ball Playing CB (Stopper)
DCL - Central Defender (Cover)
DMR - Defensive midfielder (Support)
DML - Defensive Midfielder (Defend)
AMR - Inside Forward (Attack)
AMC - Attacking Midfielder (Attack)
AML - Inside Forward (Attack)
CF - Poacher (Attack)

Looking at the way this is set up, do you guys think this is the best way in going about using 4-2-3-1? Or should I mix up the player roles a bit?

I guess the question is, is it more effective to have player roles mirrored on each side of the pitch or have players on one side of the pitch differently set up to the other? Do all the roles look like I have set up the team in the best possible way?

Thanks guys :-)
