Hello,

So, over the last week or two I've bee working on a new tactic, and I'm pretty happy with it now so I thought I'd share it with you all so I can get some feedback from everyone.

I've tested the tactic with Manchester City and Everton, and Mike is testing the tactic with Fulham and so far it's done really well.

So, with Manchester City

Like I said, Mike is testing the tactic and will put screenshots up during the season and at the end of the season.


So, if some of you could try the tactic and leave some feedback I'd appreciate it.

Im currently BETA testing Dave Hough's new yet to be released tactic (******* amazing btw) If get chance though ill give it a test.

Whats the skin is that please? looks nice

Mike is testing the tactic with West Ham** (A)
 
I will give it a go with the mighty Newcastle, and also with Ecuador:)
 
shocking start tbh

got beat of Sunderland 2-1

Drew with Man Utd 2-2

Drew with Bolton 1-1 and they had 10 men after 10 minutes

All the teams seem to dominate in possession, I got all player in correct positions etc

Will try a few more games and if the same Im scrapping it, Thanks anyway though!

Would have helped if you'd have said what team you were. With a team like Burnley or Wolves that's good. Chelsea, on the other hand, not so.

The tactic is called 'Steklo 09 Redux' it's an improverd version of 'Steklo' not 100% Sure where I got it from, but I'll see if I can find the link for you.

And you're City? It worked wonders when I was City, give it a few more games and see how the results are then.

I've managed a season with West Ham. These are my 'achievements':

Final League Position: 8th (Media Prediction 9th)
FA Cup Run: 3rd Round (Lost 2-1 away to Sheffield Wednesday)
League Cup Run: 3rd Round (Lost 2-1 away to QPR)

Overall goals scored/conceded: 58/52
Top Goalscorer: Carlton Cole, 20 goals

Notable Results

1-1 vs. Liverpool, away
1-1 vs. Chelsea, home
3-2 vs. Arsenal, home
2-1 vs. Man Utd, home
2-0 vs. Tottenham, home
3-1 vs. Man City, home
2-2 vs. Chelsea, away
6-1 vs. Birmingham, home

The only heavy defeat was 0-4 vs. Man City, away, but there were disappointing results such as 1-2 vs. Wolves, away, 0-2 vs. Birmingham, away, 0-1 vs. Wigan, away and 0-2 vs. Hull, away. Also there was a 3-4 vs. Tottenham, away but it was a fantastic match in which we went 3-1 up by 28 minutes (but all went downhill from there).

I tested the tactic as I received it to keep all fair-dos to Coach Carter, so I didn't modify or change anything. As you can see by the results given, for a mid-table team it's far more reliable attacking at home than away, so maybe give the team a defensive role to play at away games and you could be shooting up the league.

Oh, and another positive - Carlton Cole won the Goal of the Season award ^^)


EDIT: Take my word for it, too busy on the laptop at the moment to give screenshots. Will do when I get the time, though.

Any team you want.. Just pick and play :) But this time maybe try tweaking the tactic a little bit for away game so it's more solid for your team? See how that helps
 
Will be happy to test this CC, any club or stature preference?
