I was wondering does anybody have any success or any advice on playing an attacking 4-4-1-1?

There don't seem to be many/any threads on this formation at all (except for one or two closed ones).

You Can Try This

I was wondering does anybody have any success or any advice on playing an attacking 4-4-1-1?

There don't seem to be many/any threads on this formation at all (except for one or two closed ones).
You Can Still Try This 4 - 4 - 1 - 1 2 DM

Sweeper Keeper ( GK ) - Attack - Tackle Harder, Take Long Kicks, More Direct Passes, Distribute To Target Man, More Risky Passes, Distribute Quickly
2 Ball Playing Defenders ( DCL - DCR ) - Stopper - Close Down Much More, Mark Tighter, Tackle Harder, Shorter Passing, Hold Position, Shoot More Often, Dribble More
2 Complete Wing Backs ( DL - DR ) - Attack - Close Down Much More, Mark Tighter, Tackle Harder, More Direct Passing, More Risky Passes, Shoot More Often, Cross Aim Target Man
2 Roaming Play Makers ( DMCL - DMCR ) - Support - Shoot More Often, More Direct Passes, More Risky Passes, Move Into Channels, Mark Tighter, Close Down Much More
2 Wingers ( ML - MR ) - Attack - Pass It Shorter, Fewer Risky Passes, Shoot More Often, Cross Aim Target Man, Roam From Position, Mark Tighter, Tackle Harder, Close Down Much More
1 Shadow Striker ( AMC ) - Attack - Shoot More Often, More Direct Passes, Roam From Positions, Close Down Much More, Mark Tighter, Tackle Harder
1 Complete Forward ( STC ) - Attack - Shoot More Often, More Direct Passes, Close Down Much More, Mark Tighter, Tackle Harder

Team Mentality : Overload
Team Shape : Very Fluid
Team Instructions : 19
Tempo : Much Higher Tempo / Higher Tempo, Take More Risks
Width : Play Much Wider, Stadium / Pitch Must Be At Maximum Allowed
Defense :
Defensive Line : Much Higher Defensive Line
Closing Down : Close Down Much More
Tackling : Get Stuck In
Build - Up :
Passing : Exploit The Middle, Pump Ball Into The Box, Pass Into Space
Passing Directness : Go Route One
Creative Freedom : Be More Expressive
Attack :
Final Third : Hit Early Crosses, Shoot On Sight, Float Crosses
Dribbling : Run At The Defense
Freedom Of Movement : Roam From Positions

Oppositions Instructions : Always Tight Mark Everyone, Always Close Down Everyone, Hard Tackle Everyone, Show Everyone To Their Weaker Foot

Attacking Corners ( Both Left And Right ) : 6 Yard Box
Defending Corners ( Both Left And Right ) : 1 Close Down Corner, 2 Mark The Posts, 3 Mark Tall Players, The Rest Mark 6 Yard Box.
Attacking Free Kicks ( Both Left And Right ) : Best Header
Defending Free Kicks : No Change, Or You Can Have 3 Players To Form Wall And The Rest Man Mark
Throw Ins ( Both Left And Right ) : Quick, Just Make Sure You Have Long Thrower, You Can Get The Advantage

Additional Optional Movement Note : If You Want To Try It With No DM ( Just Using CMs ) Just Use Advanced Playmakers - Attack Instead Of Roaming Playmakers - Support, Of Course, With Using These Instructions : More Direct Passes, Get Further Forward, Roam From Positions, Close Down Much More, Mark Tighter, Tackle Harder. And If You Want To Play With Very Very Much More Risks, You Can Change The Wingers Instructions To More Direct Passes.

If You Want To Play A Possession Based Attacking Soccer, Just Change All " More Direct Passes " Instructions To " Shorter Passing " Instructions ( Except The Sweeper Keeper ) , Mentality From " Overload " To " Control ", Tempo : Much Higher Tempo, Build Up Passing : Exploit The Middle, Play Out Of Defense, Pass Into Space, Passing Directness : Shorter Passing, Retain Possession, Attack - Final Third : Work Ball Into The Box, Float / Whipped Crosses Variates On Your Opponents.
In Addition, You Should Have Left Footed For Right Positions And Right Footed For Left Positions
