This is a tactic I have been working on for quite a while. A 4-4-2(or a 4-2-4 if you prefer), utilizing the width and the heading abilities of your Target Man. I have used with different teams, and it works well with pretty much any team.

I would like some people to download, teest and then post their results here, so I can tweak it, and make it better. Also, if you download, please tweak bits where you are having problems, and post them below, and I will look at possibly adding to the tactic.

It is best used with a slower, more methodical pace, but also works well at a more pacey setting. Passing is also best used in a short capacity, yet works well with Direct/long settings.

GoalKeeper - Aerial Ability, Handling, Reflexes, Decisions.
FullBacks - Crossing, Marking, Tackling, Decisions, Work Rate.
CentreHalf 1 - Heading, Marking, Tackling, Concentration. Decisions, Strength.
CentreHalf 2 - Marking, Tackling, Concentration, Decisions, Pace. If you prefer, this player can be the same as the other defender, as it is just preference.
CentralMidfielder 1 - Dribbling, First Touch, Heading, Marking, Passing, Anticipation, Determination, Positioning, Work Rate, Stamina, Strength.
CentralMidfielder 2 - Marking, Tackling, Bravery, Determination, Positioning, Teamwork, Work Rate, Stamina, Strength.
Wingers - Crossing, Dribbling, Finishing, Passing, Flair, Off the Ball, Teamwork, Acceleration, Pace
Striker 1 - Finishing, First Touch, Heading, Anticipation, Bravery, Determination, Work Rate, Jumping, Strength.
Striker 2 - Dribbling, Finishing, First Touch, Anticipation, Composure, Off the Ball, Agility, Balance, Pace.

Touchline Shouts? ;)

Looks good, very similar to mine ^^) but this tactic is seeming more and more popular in this year's edition.

This is my FM10 tactic, I loaded up the TAC file into FM11 and just revised with some minor tweaks. Seems to do well against most teams, although the 'Big' teams are only beaten with a couple of tactics, and one I am working on..')

I struggled with this tactic with Espanyol against the bigger teams (okay, the difference between the big teams and the others in the Spanish league is far greater than England's) too.

Btw, how do you get the number next to the sliders?

There is a panel download. Cannot remember for the life of me where, but I will look for it tomorrow.

Well, this worked for about 3 games culminating in a 5-0 win over Birmingham, but then as always, it collapsed and now I'm lucky to win one game in ten.

villa

hello, i am using this tactic with my villa game and had mixed to very good results.
My stats are pl- 28 w- 13 d- 5 and lost - 10
Overall i dont think thats preety bad and had some good results against the big times but then gettin spanked by arsenal and chelsea 5-1. i had a bad dip in form, but i have put that down to morale, during this i lost some stupid league games and lost to scunthorpe in the cup lol. I have found it sometimes struggles away from home, but i believe also that apart from going out to scunthorpe in the cup, i have done ok with the team. Villa do need some improving so i will look to do that in the summer and then see how it gets on. A bonus agbonlahor is my poacher and he has been on fire scoring 28 goals in 31 appearances.

This worked well for a few games but now it's completely collapsed. The formation seems to leak goals like crazy. I give up, on average, about 3 goals a game and virtually any advantage I get is almost instantly met with an equalizer.

What team are you? It is usually very solid defensively, so you must have tweaked something.

I used this with Newcastle when it first came out and we finished 9th. :)

Saved over that game though. :(

Thanks Stu!
