Hi, this tactic was created for Leicester, tbh mainly for Vardy, as I wanted attacking tactic that would mainly benefit my wingers and strikers in attack.

It worked very well so I created another save with Blackburn. My target was to get into Premiership in 2seasons and hopefully avoid relegation with ease in 3rd season. It was better then expected, dominated both League1 and Championship, beating Most Points in a Season record back to back, and finished 8th in 3rd season with largely the same first team players as in 1st season and also using my own youth product.

The tactic
Goalie; Sweeper Keeper - Support(SK-S) <- This position can be changed to Goalkeeper Defend, my current keeper is better as SK-S
Defence; Fairly basic, have your best ball playing DC in BPD.
Midfield; Wingers are key in this tactic, your wingers need to be quick and have good crossing.
Strikers; I prefer one quick striker with one target man-ish striker. They should have good physical stats and work rate, decent crossing is also needed as your strikers will be assisting each other alot.

Results with tactic
First Season
I won the league easily, beating Most Points in a Season and Most Wins in a Season records.

Second Season
Again won the league easily, almost got into FA Cup Final but lost to Arsenal in Semi-Final after beating Spurs and ManUtd in previous rounds.League records broken again.

Third Season
A draw in the last game meant that I ended in 8th place but would've qualified for Euro Cup with a win.

Key Points:
Your team needs to have good strikers and wingers for this tactic to work.
Take good care of squad dynamics, its really the key in this years version imo. You should not have anyone that's unhappy or concerned, try to use your team leaders to take care of concerns from other players and get rid of unhappy/useless players.
Use standard mentality against much bigger/stronger clubs.

Good luck and happy goal-scoring!

Rotten form in december/januar, Elliot Bennet was unhappy as he wanted to move to bigger club. Imo this form was only because of his unhappiness. So I sold him, which fixed the squad dynamic, and got back to winning form. Take care of squad dynamics!

I just love the 4-4-2 formation, tired of how SI makes this tactic being harder and harder to implement on FM. Gonna give this one a try and will bring here my results later

Hi Mate!

What is the training and match prep? Any OI?

THX!

Hey mate,

Sorry, I knew I forgot something!

Individual training: Train attackers in Defensive Forward, Wingers as Winger etc.
Team training: Fitness / High in first 2-3 weeks in pre-season then Balanced / Average
Match prep: Match tactics until your team is fluid in it, then Att. Movement except against big teams, then Def. Positioning
OI: None

Having Assistant Manager with high Motivation and Man Management can help with team talk.

I also forgot one thing, try to praise your players as much as you can. If your striker scores 2, praise for last game. If your player is in 7.3+ form in last 5 games, praise for recent form. This will create strong unity amongst the players and they'll fully support you. I'm favoured personnel for almost every player in my squad and my squad dynamic is very good. Imo having good squad dynamic is a bit overpowered.

in away games ?still attacking mentlaity ?

Yes, go for attacking mentality in game's where you're the better team/bigger rep but otherwise standard.

If I'm managing Burnley in first season, I would go for standard mentality away against all big six + Leicester and Everton. Attack against other teams.

Finished 5th in my 4th season as Blackburn but I'm not sure if I'll play that save anymore, got Hard Brexit rule and cant even buy non-UK EU players. No Italians or Germans except if they've played alot in top division.

So I started new save with Burnley in EPL, first game away against Man City and I used standard mentality.

Been trying to make a decent 442 formation but had no joy, I'll give this a go tho.

With the strikers, does it matter which side the fast or target man types play?

Thanks for sharing

I often have the target man as STCL but I'm not sure it matters.

I've slightly developed the tactic to get better performance from my MC's. However, this might only work with better teams, I've only tested with Man City but won treple on first try and scoring shitload of goals!
