Hi all, bringing another tactic out which I feel is the best I have made. I have had fantastic results with this so far. I made this tactic in my Fleetwood save and it was very good, and tested with Real Madrid up until January.

Tactic and Instructions

Idea = Press high up the pitch, force the opposition back. Keep the ball and use it well.

Results I had when testing with Real Madrid.

For me these are very good results. Only disappointed in the 3-0 loss at Man City. Every other game I have deserved to win. Ronaldo won the Ballon D'or.

For some reason, I can't get to look at my starting games.
Some of the games -
View attachment 452679 -Only finished 1-1. More of the players missing than a flaw in the tactic!
View attachment 452678 -Finished 2-0. Completely dominated them. In the first game I was 2-0 up and received a red card in the 63rd minute. Went on to score and concede.

Got a red card against Barcelona and went on to score again to win 2-1

Record in the league - Played 17, Won 14, Drawn 2, Lost 1, Scored 43, Conceded 12
Ahead of Barcelona by 4 points.
Ronaldo is top scorer 13 goals followed by Benzema with 10.

Now onto where i began.
My Fleetwood team was predicted to finish 23rd in the championship. This was my 2nd season in this league.
I would say with the players I have, they are overall around 18th best in the league.
Made this tactic towards the end of the season.

I was very pleased with these results considering my team! Before using this tactic I was 16th. I finished in 11th only 7 points behind 6th.
Teams that were played -
Brighton - 6th
Crewe - 1st. I was 3-1 up and conceded 2 goals in 2 minutes in the 80th minute.
QPR - 7th
Birmingham - 3rd

The only flaw I see with this tactic is being countered. Using a very high Defensive line I was very prone. I switched to ' push higher up ' in my Real Madrid save at the Valencia game to see how it goes. Going to try with my Fleetwood save in the upcoming season!

Training - Pre season, Team Cohesion, High
Match preparation - Tactics

During season - Balanced, Average - ( I had Attacking , average on my Real Madrid save to see how it went. Think I will stick to balanced )
Match preparation - I was originally using Att movement but switched to Def positioning to see if it would stop the goals.

I get AM to do team talks, set instructions for opponent. Generally want someone with 15+ Tactical knowledge.

For the players to use, I generally look for players who fit what I need.
IE : Advanced Forward ( Attack )

I aim for the highlighted areas. This is my main Striker who got 22 goals in 42 league games.

Note : The download has ' Much higher defensive positioning '
I have recently switched to ' push higher up ' to see if I can see a difference.

Going to continue with my Real Madrid save till the end of the season and will post results.
Hope this works for anyone who tries this out.! Let me know how it goes.

have you tried dropping one the cms to cdm see if that helps with counters , might work im going to give it a try

What individual instructions did you give the Di Maria role? It's pretty hard to set up Real Madrids wings on FM, but i'd say Di Maria is like a very creative Inside Forward.

I haven't no :(. Never thought about it lol.
Let me know how it goes, could be the answer!

There is actually no instructions on Di Maria. ( The RAM )
Just a simple tactic but very effective! He is only on the pitch anyway because of Bale being injured.
He is getting a few goals by going back post / cutting inside from the corner and taking on a few players inside the box.

Also I forgot to mention in the OP. If it is 0-0 / 1-1 ect and in the 80 / 85th minute. I switch to counter.
I would rather 1 point then get 0 points :P

this tactic seems to like getting reds to often , an team takes tons of long shots but seems to work even if i dont like the reds an long shots lol

Could it not just be certain players? IE: Ronaldo takes them.
And even Free kicks.
Just from my Fleetwood save
- 7 shots, 2 outside, 2 goals
- 12 shots, 4 outside, 2 goals
- 9 shots, 1 outside, 3 goals
- 13 shots, 4 outside, 4 goals

Some of them outside are Free Kicks.
And for red cards, I didn't get a single 1 on my Fleetwood save since using this tactic. Only had 1 all season also.
