4th placed.. Europa League?

Alright, I just finished my 2nd season with Liverpool, and finished 4th. It said (ECL) in the box next to the name. But after the Europa League final, i'm only competing in the (UEL). Is there something i've missed? 4th place in England is a CL qualifying spot, isn't it?

Did an english team outside the top 4 win the Champions League? cause the spot will then go to them

By the looks of things, the English Euro Coefficients have fell below another league, maybe German or something, meaning the English leagues don't get as many places in the CL

Ajax won the Europa League and Inter won the Champions League.
And the last Euro Coefficients update said that the EPL still was 1st place, as far as i remember.

I reckon the coefficients won't go down so fast in just 2 seasons.
