I was just finishing my second season with Sevilla, when i thought it would be a interesting to create a LVG inspired formation with 3/5 at the back.
It went well at first, probably taking teams by surprise, as I went a good 13 games unbeaten.
However, I am a perfectionist, and although the tactic is pretty sound defensively - it struggles to get goals every now and then.
I am aiming for a possession styled play, controlling the game.
I often finish the match dominating in every department. Shots, however, do tend to triple the opponents at least, but tend to be off target.
Since I am struggling to find a way to end this trend, I would like it if some of you guys could come up with some ideas to maybe offer my forwards some support without leaving midfield too open? Have a look and tell me what you think, open to ALL suggestions. Thanks.
