No, its different. The smaller teams operate far more defensive, and you need more width to break them down. Look for a decent AMR and AML.
Play either a 4-4-2 with Zlatan and Balotelli up front or a 4-3-2-1 with Zlatan up front and AMR's and AML's with good crossing ability and having Zlatan as your target man.
Possibly worth buying Hulk from Porto up front as well.
Biggest factor in the leagues in hot countries is obviously that trying to play at a high tempo with lots of pressing will tire your players out too quickly. But if you play too slowly, then you won't be able to break teams down effectively.
Formations and mentality structures shouldn't need changing. Passing may need altering to reflect the different tempo at which you are playing - playing direct football at a slow tempo isn't going to work out too well over the course of a season because the opposition full back is never going to be out of position for you to exploit the space in the channels So creativity may also need increasing to make up for the lack of attacking pace generated by higher tempos.
Alternatively, you can switch between variants to simulate what occurs naturally in eg Italian games - 10 minutes attacking, high pressure every now and again when playing at a much slower tempo as your standard tactic.
