9th year, started managing england, andy carroll is scottish?

Well as said above in the year 2020, and I started managing england so i thought hmm might try carroll and see how he is doing, try to pick him and now he is apparently from scotland? Any ideas why?

Just remembered Carroll could play for Scotland anyway, think one of his parents are Scottish(maybe half Scottish).

Guess in game he got called up for Scotland instead of England on yours.

He is eligible for Scotland at the beginning of the game. He's got a scottish grandparent.

You're playing on an old patch, he was eligible for the Scottish team before he got his first England cap and usually played for Scotland in earlier patches.
