Hey guys, so I just got into the world of FM about a month or 2 ago and I just fell in love. I hadn't watched football until the last year, i had always rooted for Manchester but i probably couldn't even name 5 players back then, that all changed when i got into watching them play every weekend. I started playing Fifa on Ps3 then my friends convinced me to start playing FM which I had fought for a long time cause I didn't like the look of it. Then i fell in love.
My friend helped me out in the beginning ofcourse, showed me what everything meant from GK to ST, to how to handle news and press confrences and so on. He also helped me with in the transfer window since I had no idea what to buy.(I'll list my team later) After about 6 game or so he left and I was left alone to play and did pretty well i think, I ended up winning the league and losing the finals of the Championship to Chelsea.
The next season I was breezing through the game still having a blast, I bought players, set up friendlies, handled wages and scouted players. Started the season badly with a few loses but got back on track, ended up winning the league again and got to the final of the championship against Real madrid... and lost again.
But i didn't cry over it since it was only my second season, now I'm in my third season(december) I know i'm really slow at playing, and i'm in third place in the league and still in all the competition's.
But now I feel like there's more aspects of the game that I haven't gotten into, training and tactis for example, I just use the general traing schedule and i use the tactics I get advised against certain teams or just use what I feel like. Is it necessary to make a training schedule and is there some tactic to what tactis to use? All hint's and tip's for a beginner would be more than welcome.![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
Now to my team, ofcourse I started with the usual Manchester team that you all know but I have made a few buys I think(hope) are good.
My team:
GK : Akinfeev, Foster, Kuszczak, Amos, Aréola
Defenders :Brown, O'Shea, Sakho, Ferdinand, Vidic, Badstuber(on loan),Azipilcueta, Rafael, Srna, Evra
Midfielders : Carrick, Hargreaves, Beckham, Fletcher, Gourcuff, Nani, Agusto, Tosic, Vuckevic
Strikers : Rooney, Dzeko, Macheda, Welbeck
The first season my friend bought Akinfeev in the goal for me and Srna for the DR and Vuckevic on the midfield. Good usefull buys over all the seasons so far.
Second season I was alone and buying for the first time, bought Aréola since i read he would become a great GK in the future. I now think i made some bad moves, i wanted to buy Gourcuff and Dzeko 2 expensive buys so I sold Berbatov(don't regret), Anderson, Valencia and Fabio. Really sort of regret selling those 3 since I later read Anderson and Fabio would become good and Valencia was already good, just needed to get the money for Gourcuff. :S
Now this season I bought Azipilcueta, Agusto, Sakho and got Beckham for free just for fun, and got Badstuber on loan.
So please tell me how you think I am doing so far, with my buys and understanding of the game and everything you think would be usefull for a newcomer to the game.![Big grin :D :D](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png)
