BREAKING NEWS! MANAGER MILOBOK ANNOUNCED AS NEW A.C. MILAN MANAGER.

newsticketingeuropaleague.jpg

Having brought in a wealth of new signings at A.C. Milan, the new owners decided that their next task would be appointing a new manager. And in stepped the mostly unknown MiloBOK, a 22 year old with virtually no managerial experience but a short-lived career in professional football. Heralding from London having grown up an Arsenal fan, he speaks little Italian, making the challenge undoubtedly a big one for the talented youngster. However, with the backings of several A.C. Milan legends as well as the board, he looks set to steer the ship again in the right direction.

  • Lazar Markovic, Liverpool, £7.75m. The wantaway winger was brought in as a backup for cheap. He may not have had much chance to impress at Liverpool but the A.C. Milan manager decided that he would get a better chance playing in the Serie A.
  • Yoan Cardinale, OGN Nice £7.25m, A temporary injury to Donnaruma in the pre-season friendlies helped the manager realise that Milan needed a decent backup goalkeeper of better quality than the aging Storari, so turned to Cardinale from Nice in the French league for answers.
  • Xades, Braga, Braga £4.3m, Xades was brought in as a young talent for cheap from the Portuguese leagues with promises of greatness. He serves as a reliable backup option in midfield.
  • Cristian Pavon, Boca £7.2m, Pavon was again brought in as a young talent for the future despite occuping one of the non-EU slots for Milan. A talented prospect for the future, Pavon is mainly going to be utilised in the Under 21s going forward.
First Sales

  • Gabriel, Parma Loan, He was deemed surplus to requirements and Milan were unable to find a permanent home for him so he was sent to Parma on Loan as a buyer could not be found.
  • Gustavo Gomez, Atlanta, £4m, With the new arrivals of Bonucci and Musacchio plus the need to free up Non-EU spots, Gomez was sold.
  • Patrick Cuthrone, Loan Foggia. The talented young striker was sent out on loan to a Serie B club to improve his performance levels as well as earn some gametime as a key player for the side. It was unlikely he would start much with both Kalinic and Silva competing for one striking role, so was sent away with an eye for the future.
FIRST GAMES

LIVERPOOL 4 vs. 3 A.C.MILAN
The first game in charge was a friendly fixture against Liverpool, re-creating the historic 2005 Champions League final. Trent Alexander Arnold, Salah, Ings and Wijnaldum got on the scoresheet for Liverpool and although Milan remained with a shout, with goals scored by Locatelli, Montolivo and new signing Hakan Calhanoglu, Liverpool were too much for them.

FC MIDTJYLLAND 1 vs 2 A.C. MILAN
The first leg of the Europa League qualifiers was played against FC Midtjylland away. Despite a fluke Donnaruma injury forcing Muschassio to play in goal for the last five minutes of the game as all substitutes had been used, Milan were able to emerge victorious thanks to goals from Kalinic and Calhanoglu canceling out the home side's early start.
