A couple for Madrid

I'm Real Madrid and I've bought 0 players so far and the chairman raised my budget to 50 million ( ) and ideally I'd like to bring in a center back and a center mid for my second season. (may get more money if I win some things which is looking good at the moment)

Would like to spend most of my budget on a CM. Need a hard working player that can tackle and pass, an upgrade for Khedira really. Will be used as a DLP.

Vidal would be ideal but at the moment he isn't interested.

Any suggestions?

Bring Javi Martinez, he is the best BWM in FM14 and play Alonso and Illara as DLP.

Are those midfielders decent defensively mate? Need a bit of an all rounder!

Khedira has been very good to be fair to him but I'd like another player in there.

Also, Kyriakos Papadopolous, would he be worth getting to cover DM (with training) and DC? Ridiculously high in some attributes but low in concentration etc. Worth picking up as a squad player?

Actually, Victor Wanyama and Kyriakos Papadopoulous are simply the best BWM ingame. And yes, I've played with all the players mentioned above, only one who comes close in Javi Martinez, and even then, these two would rate above them. And not just DM, within a season, Papadopoulous becomes a natural at CM, so he's an excellent option. He is slightly more injury prone, so look out for that though..

Would he be able to pass and create? Looks like a great destroyer but my team knocks the ball about a lot.

I Love Martinez, him, Pogba and Vidal would be ideal. Just depends if I can get one!

Wanyama, and Pogba are probably your two best bets for a good all around Midfielder, Wanyama should cost 20-30 million, Pogba should cost like 40-60 million, unless you can unsettle him. Mario Pugliese is a good youngster who develops immensely if you loan him out to a team where he will get first team football.

Is Wanyama Madrid quality? I had scouted him in first transfer period but ended up leaving it to see how Khedira and illarramendi (spelling) got on. Khedira been really good, illarramendi been okay.

Wanyama is a boss at all levels.

If you need an all rounder then go for Goretzka from Schalke, takes time to develop but worth it.
