First Guide so be nice

Name: Newcastle United
Founded: 1892
Status: Professional
Chairman: Mike Ashley
Media Prediction: 18th
Stadium: St James park 52397 all seater
Fierce Rivals: Sunderland
Other Rivals: Boro

let me just recommend a training program: dan's training is very good

Season Expectations
I recommend choosing top half finish because your current squad is good enough for that especially with the new signings. you will need to ask for a bigger wage budjet which is normally accepted if you ask about injuries and then stress how important it is, ocasiaonally transfer budget is also increased but not always

Staff
sack all coaches and *** man and hire:
tony coton
john versleeuwen
ventuari
ebbe sand
mike rigg
tosh farrell
desailley

There are lots of other staff around i reccomend you look at these ones if you are not happy with these. http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/f103/4-or-greater-coach-list-t55678.html

Squad

Goalkeepers:
newcastle have a lot of depth here with 1 good keeper 1 good backup and a absolute kak one but the good one is slightly old so i recommend signing smithies next season or in January to develop into harpers replacement
steve harper - quality but old will need replacing in a couple of seasons
krul - good backup
soderberg - kak but keep him as it is good to have 3 keepers offload him once you have found a new keeper

Transfers In/Out
None

Defenders:
imgres

this is a very strong part of the newcastle team however you are plagued with injuries at the start of the season so you will have to rely on some backup players and get in a couple of loans you won't need any1 permanently due to your defence being incredibly strong from the offset.
R. Taylor - second choice RB
M. Williamson - good cover for taylor
S. Taylor - injured but quality once he returns
D. Simpson - first pick RB however injured at beginning
josé Enrique - first choice LB
S. Campbell -donkey but can be backup recomend u offload him in jan to any1
F. Coloccini - other first choice CB

Youth prospects: tamas kadar - turns out quite well with the right training program

Transfers In/Out
kyle walker on loan

Midlefielders:
imgres

your midfeild is very strong however you are lacking in wingers that is why i recommend you sign hazard. you could use ireland as your att mid and not buy lucas but he is very versatile so very useful and develops into a top quality att mid
barton - great player and consistent keep him and play him
tiote - also quality play him too alongside barton
kolan - good cover for the center mid and att mid
ben arfa - same as above
jonas - keep him forst choice RW

youth prospects: kazenga lualua: turns into a good pacey right winger
haris vuckic :thurnis into a quality att mid

Transfers In/Out
Eden Hazard - 16.75 mill LW
Lucas (sao paulo) - 6.75 mill AM

Strikers:
imgres

this is the weakest part of the newcastle team however your best strikers here would be lovenkrands and Ameobi i seriously recommend you strengthen this part of your team
S. Kuqi all strikers are awfully average
Løvenkrands
J. Edmundsson
S. Ameobi
L. Best

youth prospects:N. Ranger becomes a good target man with pace and strength

Transfers In/Out
christian benitez - 2-3 mill santos laguna ST
Ahmed Soukouna - good prospect develops into a good pacey player

Transfer Summary

In: Hazard, lucas, christian benitez

Tactics

a 4-2-3-1 wide is what i used

goalkeeper - defend
fullbacks both -support
centerbacks both -defend
centermids both - central midfeild support
wingers both - winger attack
att mid - inside forward attack
striker - advancer forward attack
fluid but everything else as normal

this should be what your final team looks like:
sorry 'bout attachment couldent make it look better

Mate, you should put different fonts and center it, with colour and pictures,
makes it more interesting to read that way.

anyway, good guide mate

You might want to use some capitals for names to make it easier to read

Oh yea I think you did not mention that Danny Simpson is injured at the start of the game so will need to get a RB for cover, maybe a good player on loan

Might want to mention Vuckic, Tamas Kadar and LuaLua for youth prospects (I think Yven Moyo is okay too)

A couple of free transfers won't hurt either, I recommend Ahmed Soukouna as he is at a pretty good level, should develop into a good Premier League striker and is very pacey

poor guide in my opinion, seems a bit rushed and basic compared to other guides on here.

Just wanted to say- Newcastle have another keeper Fraser Forster out on loan as first choice at Celtic- He came back absolutely superb for me. Harper for one season, then let Krul and Forster fight for the number one. Sell Harper and keep the very average Soderberg as third choice, or sell Soderberg and keep the more experienced but more expensive Harper as backup. There's a very young U18 keeper called Jak Alnwick who's a good prospect but that's a good 4/5 years in the future.
