I just started an Atletico save, want to challenge the big 2 and make Atletico a force to be reckoned with. I've got my team scoring but the defense is leaky. Only about 4 clean sheets.
Any tips for me to improve my defense? And maybe some tips on training because I think training is my achilles's heel, only started paying attention to it 1 or 2 years ago. Help would be appreciated :wub:

I just started a save with Bayern and I'm leaking goals as well. Not even a single clean sheet, yet! (10 games played).
I tried to watch the match and figure out the mistake, in the match against Celtic vs Bayern, it was Celtic that looked like a mighty force, my pressing won't have any effect, I can't complete my passes while they become barcelona. They played through my defense like they're a bunch of sticks and evey players becomes godly finisher. This happened in almost every match. Defending is hilarious in this patch.

set one CD to stopper, one CD to cover, then as you have a high defensive line you'll want to employ the off side trap, because having a high defense line makes it quite easy to counter if you slip up. You might want to exploit flanks and change drill crosses to float crosses.Also, with a high D line, would be wise to use a sweeper keeper on support or defend.

clean sheet in first game after I applied your suggestions, although against Celta but a clean sheet nonetheless.
