A question about Inside Forwards HELP!

Hello i havent been on this for ages..everything has changed and i dont know if this has been made before
Anyways back to the question
Are inside forwards any good if they are not cutting in
like Messi from the right
like Robben from the right
like Ribery from the left
like Gervinho from the left

would it be equally as effective as playing
Ronaldo on the right
Mata on the left
????
They are no cutting in onto their stronger foot but will they still do as much damage and get 15 goals from 35 games this question is mainly aimed at me playing Mata as a AML Inside Forward

I think no, because they'll be forced to used their weak foot and thus having a bad game (can't either assist or scoring).I suggest use Mata on the right to cut inside even he's "unconvincing" on the right. But I've used Di Maria on the right even he's not accomplished on AMR but he play very well there, scoring and assisting a lot with cutting inside with his left foot
