Ok guys. I'm a big fan of counter tactics and I want to create a better tactic to play all the season (even with top sides) and in the more tougher games, for other users use it. There's few here as they are mostly based on possession based and fewer in this style.
In this case, my idea is a counter tactic that has the players keep their position and attacking through the flanks. Rather win 5 games by 1-0 than 1 by 5-0. You get my point! My inspiration is Mourinho and the Juventus under Fabio Capello. Every player know his role and don't let the opposition players play. With this I don't want to dominate the games. Just control the game.
With this in mind, they could have all the ball they want if just don't come to danger areas.
Hope you guys will be interested in this and together we can do a great job. Here's some screens of the games I've played with my version:

My ideas behind it:
1- One full-back has more defensive instructions to provide defensive security and the other will be a bit more offensive. But the idea is to keep the shape of the team and have all the areas well occupied. Until now this has been almost achieved;
2- Regarding the 2 in front of defense. One has to sit more and provide more defense cover and the other press more the opposition and give more support to attack players. This is essential to the stability of tactic imo;
3- The wingers. Decided in those roles to gain more press and to provide more attacking options (LM). Remember that Juventus side and use Camoranesi on the right and Nedved in the left. Of course this is different due to different players but once again you get my point;
4- The AMC. This guy is the link between the team. Has to have a support role due to 2 reasons: be a defense element and be the creative guy of this project. I've put "roam from position" but I've some doubts about this;
5- The striker. For me this guy needs to have pace and play on the shoulder of high defensive lines and break them all the time. In my squad, my strikers have the pace but they're technical. So I've a doubt about the Advanced Forward or a more deep lying forward. The 2 roles have advantages.
I've split my training in 3 areas: Defend, team cohesion and physique, with 1 week for each. In match preparation I've used defensive positioning and also attacking movement.
I've used this in 3 games (of course I've played more matches but it was with other tactics):

Hope this interest people. It would be nice if people contributes to this. I've the knowledge but always fail to put this on FM. Really want to make this work.
Cheers,
