21.02.2010 - The Manchester City chairman has sensationally today announced that after just 2 months Roberto Mancini has been sacked as manager of Man City. The news comes after Man City managed to scrape a 1-0 win away at Aston Villa. It has been rumoured there was a fallout between the Man City board and Mancini, which led to him releasing this short but simple following statement: 'I have enjoyed managing Man City, however due to the lack of backing i was receiving from the board during my time and the breakdown in communication they obviously felt best to end my time with them. I am bitterly disappointed'.
26.02.2010 - Today brings the announcement of Robert Parkin as the new manager of Manchester City F.C less than a week since Mancini was sacked. The surprise announcment will surely shock the world of football as Parkin, who brings little managing experience, will now manage the richest football club in the world. Manchester city are currently languishing in 5th place in the premier league.
Parkin has to rely on the squad inherited from Mancini until the end of the season
