This is a joint story challenge between Aannddyy & Ronaseal, the aim is to see who can finish highest in the league in the first year, with tiny budgets it should be a big challenge for both of us.

Burns announces 2 big signings

Andy Burns has announced two very big captures for the small Premier League side.

Sol Campbell (FREE) & Server Djeparov (£700k) they are said to be key players in Burns' future plans. However there are several rumours emerging that Andy Burns could be ready to offer out club legend Robbie Blake, and Dutch defensive midfielder van der Schaaf to raise some funds. Sol Campbell becomes the highest paid player at Turf Moore.

Liking the signings. Seems Ronaseal so far is going for it a bit more with cash, and Andy is finding bargains, should be interesting to see what will pay off more.

I started this a few days ago so i wont post you a screenshot as it would give away my league position. Here are my signings:
Aron Gunnarson (CM) - 2mil from Coventry
Lacina Traore (ST) - 1mil from CFR Cluj
Jonathan Santana (DM) - 1.5mil from Wolfsburg and finally my most important signing..
Sergey Krivets (CM) - 2.1mil from Bate (i know i probably should of got him for less)

I tried to sell more players but i could only managed to get rid of Strven Thompson for 950k. Also i have terminated Dave Nugent's loan to balance the wage bill

Aha I was going to use it but I'm looking to play 4 or 5 defenders.. Maybe I'll give it a go though

Nugent is pretty good as a poacher if he's playing with the right sort of player up top like Crouch or someone in that sort of mould.
