Hi All

Just finished the 2018/19 season with Everton, finished 2nd and won the FA Cup. To put it mildly, I've not done as well as I'd hoped over the past 7 seasons - only 2 FA Cups won, 2x4th place finishes, 1x2nd place finish and the rest between 6th and 8th place, and numerous lost league cup finals and fa cup finals.

So my question is - what do I do now? I feel like I want to give it one last push for the league next season but it's bringing me down that I haven't already won it yet!!

I've got a really good young side, with only one player over 30, which looks like this:

GK Ozdemir (German regen, rated PA 5 stars, current 3, only 20)

DR Oriente (Italian regen, rated 4 and half stars, only 21)
DL Ivelj (Croation regen, rated 5 stars,current 4, 22)
DC Tony Lees (28)
DC Popo (Brazilian regen, rated PA 5 stars, current 3, only 20)

MR Will Hughes
ML Wellington Nem
MC Jordan Mutch (Advance Playmaker)
MC Michael Bostwick (Ball Winning Midfielder)

FC Ademilson (Advance forward)
FC Martin Thompson (youth academy regen, 4 stars, 22)

I have some good back ups as well, especially in the striker department.

Should I buy to improve my squad? Should I stick with 4-4-2 which has worked well for me? Should I trust that the young players will have improved enough over one season to give me that 'edge' this season? (there has been a noticeable difference since the previous season)

Any advice is eagerly accepted :)

Cheers
