ac milan tactics help please

in my first season with ac milan and have built a younger side to the one ancelotti left but am struggling with some tactics. this is my squad

gk:dida,asenjo
dl:kolorov,boateng
dr:zambrotta,bonera
dc'shea,breno,kaladze,maldini,senderos
mc,gattuso,flamini,beckham
am:kaka,ronaldinho,afellay,
standev,pato,benzema,inzaghi

am currently playing the 4-2-3-1 formation but is not working so any potencial signings and most importantly a new formation if any1 has any ideas cheers

where is pirlo, formation seems no prob as kaka can play best only in amc. so use striker as target man and use short and quick passing as kaka, ron, flaMONEY, becks can pass well and play through balls
