McCarthy is a talented player but i think he will not progress much further. £500,000 is an insulting bid. just cause he plays in Scotland doesnt mean he is worth pennies it's about time the english started to appreciate us and stop thinkling they run the show

I'm born and bred in england, but my dads side of the family r all scottish. i fully appreciate the scottish game as does my dad. The only reason theyv'e offered that much is cause the scottish league isnt as talented as english league and he cud quite easily flop over here.

to be honest i thought 500k was a great bid for a player who has had 1 spl season
