Adding Leagues In FM15 Classic?

Hi, just wondering if anyone on here knows how to, or if it's possible, to add a league during a season on FM15 classic? Into my 3rd year and reckon I've done all I can do with my Celtic side so looking for a new venture.

There's an option in the FM drop down menu to add/remove leagues. They will not add however until the end of their current campaign.
