It such a weird scenario, but i have no clue how it happened.

In my first year at Arsenal, i won all cups final, (CC, FA, and CL) and in the end of the season, i only got to 4th place. said that i was expecting like a playoff game around august for the group stages, but no i straight away got into the pots draw for the group stage with out playing whilst being 4th last season.

And now its 17 years on, and im have been winning games atm, but some hefty draws and shameful loses previously are keeping hold of me, and struggling for the 4th place spot, right now im in 5th.

i have also posted a pic of the current league table. i cant see myself winning this time, and its a huge gap really from Spuds, and they are pretty stronger than me :@

taking the league performances out, im doing extremely well in the Cup games, as i have the CC final against Bristol city (who are a decent team really , but shame they are 14th), and as of now i have a fa 5th round tie against Hull city . thus my CL performance have been outstanding, recently trashing Inter Milan 5-0 :).

alright back on topic, if this trend continues, and lets say i win the CC final, and the FA Cup final, thus also the CL final, and in the league im still stagnated at 5th or i dropped to 6th or somehow i manage to get to 4th, do i still go to the CL completion as i mention above with what happened in my first season, or i go to the Playoffs if im 4th, and to the EL if im 5th or 6th ?

Usually the holder of the CL would be in it ahead of the team that finished fourth.

Happened in real life too, when Liverpool won it back in 2005. Everton finished fourth and L'pool fifth, except somehow both made the CL. Everton got knocked out in the pre-eliminary rounds.

ahh, i see. thanks for clarification Fish.

after saying that Fish, i think i'll just try to get Knockout int he CL in the later stages. im to bored play in the CL in these 17 years time for some EL games :P

Yeah I think they changed the rule after 2005. I've done something similar to this; first season with Tottenham I won the CL but finished 5th. So fourth place Man City missed out and I went straight into the group stages, sweet.

But yeah, CL winners automatically qualify.

The CL is always boring. The EPL is where all the fun's at. ;)
