I am playing as Celta Vigo and just played my first season. I finished third in the league and need to start building for the tough second season and Champions Leauge. My two best players this season were my striker Charles and midfielder Rafinha. Rafinha was on loan from Barca but I cant afford to buy him for the second season (26M release clause).

So I have been looking for a replacement and was a bit interested in Charles Gil from Valencia (on loan at Elche) who I can afford but I will have to put almost my whole transferbudget in one basket to sign him. I can get Victor Perez from Valladolid for free, though he have very high wage demands and is not a world beater.

I am looking for suggestions and any tip is welcome.

Javi Espinosa is doing great for me at Lazio. Was very cheap first season (<500k)
 
First season I had about 5M so I guess it will be around that amount this season aswell, maybe a little more since I will be selling one or two players. I am playing online and we're gonna continue tonight so I will find out the exact amount then.


Edit: I dont want to spend all money on one player. I need a backup striker aswell and probably backup somewhere else..

Question is if he is good enough right now. I want a player that starts every game for me and is ready for champions league.

What about Charly Musonda from chelsea? Should be around 18 in your save and he turns out pretty well.
 
Gonna take a look at him too but I am mainly looking for a player that is good now and that will be a good starter for a few years to come, he doesnt have to be a 17-18 year old super talent that is good for his age and might become a superstar but only decent for this lvl right now.

I know older players are more expensive but that is what I am looking for, and by older I mean like 20-30 years old. If hes younger its fine, but the most important are the stats right now.
 
I like Will Hughes. He's fairly cheap and he can play both Midfield and the AMC spot. You really need to go young and cheap with your squad considering your budget. BTW You know you can offer to extend Rafinha's loan by 1 year right? Just do it before his loan is up. A big squad like Barca is more likely to acept loan offers because they don't have playing time for their kids. As for a young striker look at Neal Maupay. For an experienced but cheap striker look at a guy like Shane Long.
 
Could get espinosa for free since his contract runs out but I am not convinced by his stats, leaning towards Perez who is free and 17k a week is not horribly expensive. He is actually pretty good and good PPM (killerballs) he's two-footed aswell which is great. 26 years old so still 4-5 good years in him. He had some injury problems last season in game which is a bit worrying but when he played he did very well for Valladolid (8 goals 3 assists in 20 games).
 
I signed Hiroshi Kiyotake from Nurnberg for 4M. He was transferlisted by request so got him on the cheap. The board gave me 7M transferbudget so I still got something left for more signings.

I also signed Tom Ince on a free transfer because I sold Orellana for 3.5M. Hes actually pretty decent and I think he will do fine in La Liga where the refs protects the quick, technical and skinny players.
