Advantage of Youth acadamy

What does the youth acadamy add to the youth team. I know it makes it better, but by how much? Whats more important in the editor, the stat for youth facilities or the youth acadamy check?

they are both important, the youth academy gets new youth players in every season so the better the academy the better players it gets in.

The facilities are also important because the better they are the better it will help a player improve and also a young superstar may not want to play for you because your youth facilities arent up to standard, so get them high as well.
