Advice needed for defensive line

Dear football manager addicts ...

I like to play an attacking/free flowing football .. So what is the best defensive line setup ? (how many notches) ?? .... I like to pressure my opponents up the field but at the same time to be safe and guarded from any fast counter attacks ..

You probably best to play a higher defensive line otherwise you may leave too much space between the midfield and the defence and if you are having players come out of position alot to press the ball, you don't want this.

i think it depends who you are playing. For example if you are against a quick team put in fast sweeper behind a high line but if you do not have sweeper play a deeper line with a devensive midfielder to cover4 the space between midfield and defence.
