I'm new on FM so could someone tell me which tactics to download to get me started? Which ones are best? There are so many that I don't know which ones to go for.

What team are you looking to play as. What kind of style do you want to play? Arsenal like football, or Stoke like football..

I am managing Kilmarnock in the SPL, but what I want is a good general tactic to get started with. Something that is strong defensively and builds from the back with possession.

im in the same position as yourself. im useless with tactics but what i did to start with was to have a go at creating my own tactic/formation. along with downloading someone elses this way you can implement a successful tactic with your own. i found it gave me a better understanding for the game which if im to be honest im not very good at. failing that the chaps on this site are all very friendly and helpful. let me know how you get on as i need all i can get too!!!!

Try my tactic - link is in my sig. Seems to do that for me - but you need to have an excellent AMC and a good box-to-box midfielder.

It's not an unbeatable tactic, but it plays nicely and got me loads of good results.
