I can't really talk considering I've never done a story but at the moment you're literally typing a few words about games. Maybe consider actually writing brief reports, give team reports, news stories about transfers because otherwise it's just little bits of text that tell the reader nothing. No offence, just help intended.
what does that mean
first 4 games
3 league games and 1 cup game in and overall a disappointing set of results
first game of the season, i knew we had to get a decent start, Huddersfield, not a great team, a mid table team like us, i will take a draw
Huddersfield 1-0 bourne
nakhi wells(1) 3'
we had 32 shots 13 on target but really they dominated possession they had better tackle rate and they had better average rating with 6.91 next up southend
we need a win to bounce back against our disappointing result this should be easy but, could an upset be on the cards XD
bourne 1-2aet southend
pitman (1) 27' roberts(1) 50'
barnard(1) 115'
terrible game we dominated and they got a lucky goal and a penalty in 115th minute
we need our 1st win of the season and next we have brentford, should be easy?

boruc OG 65'
unlucky not to win 28 shots on target to their 9. we dominated and were extreamly unlucky not to win
final of the 4 games is nottm forest probably not going to win

an 83rd min goal by jordan rhodes sunk us once again, luckily we retained 15th place but next up norwich,13th,so not a hard game should win it

we should of won it absoulutly amazing against an inform watford side who are 5th in the table
our next game was watford who were bottom of the table
