AFC Liverpool: The quest for league football!

Hello name is Ben Worthington and recently been wanting to do a game as a team down in the level 10 of English league football. Whilst looking through these leagues I found AFC Liverpool who were recently set up for Liverpool fans who simply do not have the money to go to Liverpool games. The club was formed in 2008 and won the North West Counties First Division Trophy in its inaugural season. They share a ground with Prescot Cables, Valerie park which can potentially hold 3,200 people however only a minority of the stadium is seated. John Alridge, Erik Meijer and Veggard Heggem are all patrons of the club.

I will take over the club for the 2009/2010 season and hope to win the league, which shouldn't be a problem as the media expect me to win it also. The quality at the club is not sufficient though in my opinion and I will look to make many transfers in and out.

I will not go into much detail in my first few seasons as manager and will only note major transfers, changes or anything that happens at the club. I will post screenshots of our results. Wish me luck :D

Haha yeah Finn is the mastermind behind any success I have it is in no way down to my managerial ability just Finn's team picking ability :D Thanks Finn :)
 
My transfers, with Emmanuel Mendy, Cody Arnoux, Scott Kay and Danny Mitchley being the signing that should secure us top spot. They are all here til the end of the season. The team quality when I got here generally was poor and I feel I have strengthened the team sufficiently to win the league.

8 wins and a draw :D The game we drew we dominated though and really should of win. Top of league by a couple of points now and still in both cups. Thought I'd have went out of the FA Vase when I got drawn against Friar Lane and Epworth who were 1-6 favourites, but a brilliant performance puts us into the FA Vase proper where we play Lark Hall next. Ashton Town next in the Liverpool Senior Cup, a game we should win. The North West Challenge cup will be the final cup I can attempt to win and I play mid-table Stone Dominoes in that. A very good month and the season looks exciting :D

Thanks mate, steam name is BenWorthoLfc and yeah Finn did actually say that another one of his steam friends had started as them :D
