OK guys this is my first ever FM story so please bare with me. I hope you like it but if not please leave me feedback as to why not so I can try and improve it in the future. Thank you
It is rumoured today that AFC Telford have sacked Rob Smith after 3 years in charge. It is thought the sacking came after numerous arguments with Captain Stuart Whitehead in the run up to the new season. As of yet there has been no word from the AFC Telford camp on whether the rumours are true or not. We will keep you posted as and when we find out anymore information.
It is with regret today that I inform you all that we have had to let Rob Smith depart from the club. The reason for his departure was numerous arguments with captain Stuart Whitehead after Stuart felt that Rob was alienating numerous players in pre season training, therefore the board had no choice but to let Rob go for the harmony of the club.
We will appoint a new manager as soon as possible, but we will only appoint someone with the drive and ambition to take this club to new heights in the football world.
Non League daily can today confirm that Rob Smith has departed from the New Bucks head.
Smith joined Telford in February 2006, helping them avoid relegation from the Unibond Premier in their first season.
They gained promotion to the Blue Square North the following year after a 3-1 win play-off win at Witton. No news as of yet on who is successor will be.
July 9th 2009 - AFC Telford new manager conference.
Media in attendance, BBC Shropshire and The Non League Paper.
"It is with great pleasure today that I get to announce a first for not only this club but English football too. The new manager of AFC Telford will be English footballs first ever female manager Kayla Cunningham.
"Thank you very much Lee. Do either of you have any questions for me?"
"How does it feel to be the first ever female football manager?"
"It really is an honour. I am looking forward to life here at the New Bucks Head."
"Do you feel you will be able to cope with the added pressure of being the only female manager in English football?"
"I am relishing the opportunity to show all you men that us woman know a thing or two about football and that we can do more than just cook and clean."
"How do you think the players here will cope with being managed by a woman?"
"Me and Lee have talked about this and we both agree that any player at this club that reacts in a sexist manner does not have a future at this club. I want to take this club as far as it can go and for that the player will have to deal with being told what to do by a woman. If they don't like it they can leave. If they do not share my ambition for this club, then they can leave.
I will take no further questions, I would prefer for the season results to do the talking. Thank you."
