After patch - I can't start the game

Hi guys,

I can't even open my game aften the update.

I tried to reinstall the game through Steam and I also reistalled the latest version of DirectX - no luck.

At first the game starts, then it just goes into this black screen (pic 2) where I can't do anything but push the X at the top right of the screen to close the game. And that's when I get the last info as seen in the third picture.

Can anyone help me?

I got it to work again because I verified my cache twice through Steam. So should anyone experience the same problem as me, this might be the way to go.
