This is a tactic i created for Manchester United, a tactic which has given me great results but most importantly, stunning attacking football!

So this how it looks, a very fluid 4-3-3 focused on creating lots and lots of chances by attacking in numbers.
*low crosses is optional of course, but my attacking players arent very large.

a little too many draws in first season, silly draws against weak teams and the two losses were against West Brom and Sunderland. Need to get the boys motivated for the smaller games!

Top performers
View attachment 314783 Memphis depay playing the raumdeuter role, unreal statistics. And he doesnt even take set pieces.
View attachment 314782Januzaj playing as an attacking pm on the right, cutting in and finding the striker and left winger with through balls.
View attachment 314777gabi barbosa making the false nine position his own this season!

Wing backs aren't counted as defenders they're counted as midfielders. This is a 2-5-3 I'm pretty sure.

Otherwise its a pretty cool idea.

no there not. Wing backs are defenders who attack, defensive wingers are midfielders who defend.

Looks interesting! I've been curious to see how the Raumdeuter plays on the match engine. I'll have to give it a go.

but hes useing wingbacks ala 3-5-2 instead of full backs ala 4-2-3-1

It would be a 4-3-3 if he pulled the wingbacks back till they're in the fullback spot

I assume it works with the cmb's feeding the ball to the third really fast and then coming up unmarked on the flanks giving width while the cm's provide depth. The most money should be spent in the centerbacks for the optimum ability to recycle possession from clearances and to break the knees of any strikers who want to run back a counter attack to an under fortified third.

How much do you have to spent to keep dea gea?

Same formation I used on FM14 with Newcastle and it was good then. You use different player roles to what I used but looks very good and will be giving it a try

Giving this a try with Southampton save season 1 around Feb. Will post results.

only player instructions are dribble more for the raumdeuter and shoot less for the false nine

some good results there lukegame, let me know how your season progresses!

4-3-3-kram

Tried this in my third season as Arsenal. To sum up where I am no trophies yet but felt my team and squad finally coming together. I annoyed the fans by offloading Welbeck who missed half the last season through injury and then an offer totaling £40+ million came in and well, you have to don't you. Results in third season weren't going well, murmurs of my demise appeared every week and so I thought I would have a go at this tactic.

Match 1: Sunderland 1 Arsenal 0 - Total Shots For 21 Total Shots Against 12 *not the best start but were the better team
Match 2: Apoel 1 Arsenal 6 - Total Shots For 31 Total Shots Against 2 *quality performance but conceded 1 off 2 shots and it's only Apoel.
Match 3: Arsenal 2 Man United 1 - Total Shots 26 Total Shots Against 6 *A performance against a big team, yes at home but United had no shots before the 75th minute.
Match 4: Arsenal 4 Roma 2 - Total Shots 22 Total Shots Against 6 *Won my Champions League Group beating the unbeaten Roma at home.
Match 5: Arsenal 2 Tottenham 1 - Total Shots 30 Total Shots Against 7 *North London derby triumph.

We are certainly dominating matches, and watching the matches you can see how when you lose possession it almost becomes a back 5, which is what I was concerned about with having only 2 actual out and out defenders
