"All teams in division must be assigned to the parent division or its child division"

*not both...

I'm trying to edit the rules in Scotland to have a Premiership of 20 teams and a Championship of 24 teams but I am getting the above message. Can anyone help me?

Nope. Can't figure it out. I have the "Championship" set as a sub-division of the "Premiership"... would that be correct?

yh i dont think its a division issue, more a team assignment to one or the other. never seen it before,

What you have now:

1. Parent - Premiership
Child - Championship

What you should have:
1. Premiership
2. Championship

Set up both leagues as individual divisions with the premiership sitting above the championship, not the championship in the premiership.

The editor thinks the Premiership is a parent or umbrella league covering multiple leagues, and the championship as one of its children. It would only expect teams either assigned to the parent (which it would then automatically spread out into its child leagues) or to each individual child league. As you have teams in both the parent and child, its kicking out the error.

Attach the file if you're still not sure and i'll fix it, should be a quick tweak.
