Alternative way of playing FM10

Not really sure if this in the right spot and I highly doubt this is possible but pretty much my laptop cant play discs atm but if I copied everything to do with FM10 from my PC and pasted it in the exact same places on the laptop is there a way that it will be installed on the laptop and be able to be played without the disc?

Like I said I highly doubt that this is possible but worth a try

when you install fm10 you get the option to install without steam, choose that option, download the latest patch so u r runing 10.3, then use a no dvd image to replace the offical application in your sports interactive directory run game game all done away you go, works fine for me, i have desktop pc version using steam and then laptop with no dvd image works great.

no need to pay gain for the game, just uninstall anythin you have to do with fm 10 on your system folders everythin, then do a full clena install so that u get the option to install without steam and then copy and paste the no dvd image into your sports interactive folder all doen off u go, have u installed the game already so that u have to play with the dvd im, if so i can just send u the file on msn and u be sorted

uninstall them install with steam, you can install with steam from a boxed copy and you dont need the disc, or go with picosq's advice (having a no cd fix is fine as long as you own the game)

Or buy an external disc drive that plugs in via usb, can get them for less than ten quid.

Use MagicISO (free program, can be downloaded) on the computer to create an .ISO file, which acts the exact same as a disc, but no physical disc needs to be present. Meaning that you'd have all the advantages of having the disc, but you don't need to actually have the disc. As long as you create the .ISO file on your PC, then copy to your laptop, it should be fine.

Otherwise, all the suggestions above are awesome and should work. ^^^^^
