So basically I have a systemic tactic I use for basically all my games and have huge success in playing short quick one touch football, its up for download somewhere called La Masia think it has 9k+ DL but anyway I appear to be hitting a snig in my season this time round (Just got back on), the midfield/defence is perfectly set up, here is an idea of the general role/how I get 'sexy' football 60 pct+ possession to work-

GK-Set distribution to full back (Quick throw)
RB/LB-Wingback support creative freedom small, passing shortest, through balls often, mentality attacking (Just into attacking), marking zonal. These act as an outball and drag out the opposition midfield with neat triangles with the CMs
CB-Stopper, creative freedom minimum, passing short, mentality just into defensive
CB-Defender, Same as above but push up just into own area from own half
There is more but Im just giving an idea to the style adopted, CDM anchorman who sits and links defence to attack (Again creative freedom minim. passing shortest through balls never, mentality defensive)
2CM-Advanced playmakers support, passing short mentality just into attacking, creative freedom minimum.
AML AMR- PROBLEM, Im still scoring 3+ a game and they still run off the ST as I designed it to do however when they get through into the 18 yard at an angle instead of cutting back they bang it at goal! Rarely crossing/cutting back simply in great positions I just need a bit of advice. The problem basically is how do I restrict their creative freedom to lay it off to a team mate without impending on their individual skill?

AML-Left footed Griezman
AMR-Right footed Kiko

ST-Lukaku CS Support-Awesome.

Any ideas would be great, the obvious one if creative freedom min (Its pretty much maxed on the two of them atm) Their runs are just as I want moving inside defenders and getting through its just when they get there they keep shooting...Perhaps its unavoidable it just annoys me :/

Weird thing is I have everyone on passing shortest, crossing never except for the AML and AMR who are on sometimes and aim TM Lukaku. But they just arent cutting back/chipping it they shoot from insane angles.

They are the only 2 who dont have creative freedom min in my team, so I would probably assume this is the problem into why they sometimes break up the play but any ideas on how to 'role them up' would be appreciated.

I would put this in the small questions thread but...Don't see many replies there.

Prefered move training. The risk being, they may not prefer to learn it.

I have managed to restrict Cristiano Ronaldo enough that he'll cut in and pick off a one-two before going for goal without hindering anything, but I do have players nearby him, Higuian, Pastore, Fabregas and Lahm are always nearby and/or behind him, ready to take the ball if he gets locked up with no space.

On the left, I have Ozil playing, moving into channels with a attacking wingback always ready to overlap him, Pastore and Higuian always near if he needs the assistance.

I can only recommend having the fullbacks and MCs on a very high attacking mentallity, so that they will push up high enough to be nearby for passing. Replicate Dani Alves for Barcelona with the fullbacks. If you don't want that, then you'll need Lukaku's attacking slider to be tweaked enough so that he is level with your wingers during attacking play, roaming around for space and holding up the ball while other plays get into position.

I would opt to go for attacking wingback method. Its proven good for me, so that players like Ozil and Ronaldo are always with assistance. Make sure the fullbacks have the stamina, pace and passing otherwise you'll struggle.

the best solition willl be allowing ur wingback/fullbacks to bomb forward.this will create more passing option and some occasional crosses for ur TM lukaku to feast on in the air.also try ppm look for mass instead of trying to score.

PMT might be the answer, my full backs are pretty much set up like barcelonas, they hug the touchline and act as an outball bombing on when necessary only issue is the darn wingers. It only appears to be griezmann and Kiko Lucas and the other wingers pass alot more so Im assuming PMT will help. Cheerssssssss
